Any question what Skip was doing yesterday?

In addition to having a Masters degree in folklore and mythology, loyal but seldom heard from SCGer Skip is also famous for having the best comic book collection among all the 8th grade boys at Jeff Albertson Middle School in Providence, RI.

With the release of Marvel's much heralded Civil War, in which Spider-Man and other super-heroes reveal their true identies -- you have to imagine that yesterday was a huge day in the Skip family household.

Here is a link to an article on the big news. Apparently, the plot line revolves around the passage of a new law requiring super heroes to reveal their secret identities and register as personal weapons of mass destruction.

From the article:

Marvel's roster of invincible crime fighters is split into two bitterly opposed factions, with one camp -- championed by the likes of Spiderman -- in favour of the new law and the other, including Captain America and his ilk, refusing to relinquish anonymity.

What's up with "Captain America and his ilk"? Would it be a national security leak to say that his real name is Steve Rogers?

If this doesn't get Skip to post, nothing will.

Update: When I mentioned that it would be good for the public to learn the truth about the super heroes identities, Skip went off the deep end. You can listen to his reaction here.

Yes, there is pretty much no posting that can't be improved by some Simpsons sounds. More here.

Update 2: I should mention that the image above is an artist's rendering of Skip at his high school graduation. Most of the kids went with the traditional robe and morter board, but Skip liked to do things his way.

What can you say to that???

Did you hear that Hillary was roundly booed at the "Take Back America" event? She stood by her vote to go to War and that set off the chorus of boos. Was she principled or just plain wrong? (SCGers need not reply - this is for our friends across the aisle).
